Mr Hossein Ameli

Mr Ameli is an experienced professional with multi-disciplinary skills in the fields of Accountancy, Business Consultancy, Economics, Financial Planning and Taxation. His career progression within the professional services sector spans over 25 years and comprises engagements in public accounting practice, high level international financial directorship, financial services industry and academic research. His passion throughout this period has been to provide holistic cogent solutions to clients’ problems across a wide range of concerns and issues. Mr Ameli is a Certified Public Accountant and a Registered Individual with the Financial Services Authority.
Mr Ameli graduated from the National University of Iran with a first class degree in Economics. He then achieved his Masters Degree in Economics from Essex University in the UK and subsequently conducted PhD level research in the field of Political Economy of Development with particular emphasis on the pre-revolutionary Iran, also at Essex University. Whilst due to professional/work commitments Mr Ameli was unable to complete his doctorate, nevertheless he has maintained an active interest in this area through extensive contacts with relevant academic circles.
Mr Ameli’s full-time business career started in 1983 as a trainee accountant. Between 1983 and 1989, he worked his way up to the position of Partner’s Technical Assistant supervising a team of six; planning, executing, and managing highly challenging group audits and investigations.
Mr Ameli then joint the financial services industry as an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) and specialised in providing high level professional advice to company executives and high net worth individuals between 1990 and 1995.
Since 1996, Mr Ameli has merged his diverse activities and has been managing accountancy and financial planning entities that he set up, under the banner of Anderson Ross, in order to provide accounting, consulting, financial and tax planning services to clients in the UK and abroad. During part of this period, he was also in charge of directing finances of the largest privately owned global news agency in Europe, Africa and the Middle East comprising 33 branches in 15 countries. In 2007, Mr Ameli launched a professional services partnership, Anderson Ross Anoushaa LLP (ARA), with Mr Mo Massouleh. ARA provides strategic management practitioner services to businesses which seek significant and sustainable growth over a period of 3 to 5 years.
Mr Ameli has gained his professional and business management experience by working in a highly demanding public accounting environment which has required a high degree of multi-tasking, delegation, training, supervision and development of human resources. His financial and management background, complemented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable him to perform and produce results which meet and exceed clients' expectations.
